Imagine the Amazon recruiting AI as a tiny resume goblin sitting on a throne of PDFs, shouting: “Behold, I have learned from ten years of hiring patterns, and therefore I am definitely objective!”
Then everyone checks the results and realizes the goblin did not discover fairness. It mostly learned the old patterns in the data and dressed them up as star ratings.
The fake courtroom scene:
